Tatuagens
As tatuagens fazem parte de uma pesquisa recente de Mariana Palma sobre o suporte do trabalho. As imagens escolhidas, derivadas de seu trabalho em aquarela, evocam um corpo íntimo, que carrega força e delicadeza. Em suas pinturas, as composições em tecido, muitas vezes inspiradas em posições de dança ou teatro, apresentam corpos velados destacando diferentes texturas e movimentos. Este mesmo corpo ausente consolida-se agora como suporte, transformando-se em roupa, invertendo a lógica da permanência do objeto de arte e convidando à experimentação.
As fotografias das tatuagens foram desenvolvidas em colaboração com Cássia Tabatini (fotógrafa, editora e diretora da Fort Magazine).
The tattoos are part of Mariana Palma’s recent research on the support of the work. The chosen images, derived from her work in watercolor, evoke an intimate body, which carries strength and delicacy at the same time. In her paintings, the compositions of fabrics, often inspired by dance or theater poses, have the bodies veiled, highlighting the different textures and movements. This same absent body now consolidates itself as support, becoming clothing, inverting the logic of the permanence of the art object and inviting experimentation.
